As printed in our flyers (which you can sign up for by emailing us through our "contact us" section, we are NON-PROFIT. All funds made beyond expenses go for cancer research to the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. This is because they guarantee that all funds received will be for research and not for administration.
Happy Trails Virginia TV & Film Festival is a nostalgic faith and family event that highlights, promotes, and supports what has been done and is being done in regard to outstanding media productions. Our events are for all fans who desire to see more faith and family based films and TV shows. Our goal is to inform as many people as possible about these productions and artists, encourage them to support the films and shows they create that reflect christian values, thereby ensuring a vital media event fans may witness a transforming power of God's love and saving grace through his gift of his son the RISEN Jesus Christ. The bunkhouse gang (as the staff titled themselves) and the media stars with whom we work acknowledge that the christian walk is a continuing process of growth in faith, hope, and love to reach spiritual maturity. We also seek to share this with non-christians so that they may experience the joy of knowing Jesus Christ.
The opportunity to meet and mingle with. film and TV stars, producers, directors and authors. There will be films, panels, workshops, music and a banquet for those who wish to dive right in as well as food trucks, and vendors to show our support for small and local businesses.
